Central Region Radio System

There are several reasons for creating this project. The current RCMP-owned radio systems in National, C, and O Divisions have reached the end of their service lives. Radio communications are an integral tool that makes it possible for RCMP members to perform their daily operational duties. Two-way, land mobile radio systems are essential life-lines that allow members to communicate with each other and with dispatchers to provide status updates, seek information and call for help in emergency events. The existing radio systems are now obsolete and need to be replaced in order to maintain dependable mission critical radio communications for RCMP members. The goal for this project is to provide effective two-way, land mobile communications to the RCMP members. The cost effective solution is to build one RCMP owned and operated P25 Radio System to service National, C, and O Divisions incorporating the existing G7 Radio infrastructure. This project, once completed, will provide an encrypted, interoperable, GPS – enabled, two-way, land mobile radio communication system to RCMP members in National, C, and O Divisions. It will extend more reliable radio coverage throughout their areas of responsibility thus enabling the RCMP to deliver better service to the public

Mobile Vacation Tracker App

This project enables employees to apply or request for vacation through a mobile application, the manual process for vacation takes 2 weeks for approval while this automated process takes 10 minutes for approval.

Digital Map

This project mapped health providers within the Co-Op app to enable customers to view the health providers in their location. It includes features such as providers, search based on location, and health specialty. There was also the rating ability to mark a health provider as a favourite on a customer’s profile.

Online/Digital Wealth Tool

The project provides capabilities for customers to calculate contributions to various products such as RRSP, TFSA etc, and projected wealth created by different contribution options. It also provided the platform to start the respective account for existing customers.

Corporate Intelligence tool

Responsible for gathering Business Requirements for the implementation of a Business Intelligence solution to the Student’s Recruitment Journey.

Credit Card Launch

The project objective was to provide access to a new credit card and digitally onboard customers where they can manage their cards. Customers were able to use the digital card until they receive a physical card.

EMR/EHR System

Implemented an Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Health Records system for one of our clients, to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive primary care clinics, dental services, mental health, and addiction treatment services, this increased work productivity by 45%.

IAM (Identity and Access Management)

Transitioned from on premises access management using active directory to an automated process known as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Information systems staff provides new hire name and position to the RPA tool and within 5 minutes’ full access is set up and emailed to the new hire’s supervisor.

Customer Relationship Management

Worked on a digital transformation project, introducing a new Customer Relationship Management for a retail shop. The company didn’t previously use CRM and was finding it difficult to manage their increasing customer base.

Voice Recognition Application

Voice recognition application was integrated into Salesforce customer relationship management platform. The system recognized the account holder voice and automatically authenticate customer’s account.

My Rogers App

This initiative allowed customers to view their accounts online, monitor the services they have and control data usage, it also allowed customers make payments for bills such as internet, cable TV, home phone, and wireless cell phone network.

Omnichannel Pick Up

Omnichannel project was implemented to allow customers order for items online and pick them up in the store, customers are also able to select the date and time within an available timeframe for pick up.

Learning Management System (LMS)

Implemented a learning Management System (LMS) called SGI where employees can search every information concerning all service products so as to educate the value of services to customers.

AWS SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

Company moved from Splunk software based to AWS SIEM cloud based, this solution helped the organization detect, analyse and respond to security threats before they harm business operation.

Credit Card Tool

This tool would enable the clients to select the best credit card option based on the input parameters such as preferences including payment habits, features, fees etc. established via a series of questionnaires. The tool would recommend the most appropriate credit card option to the customers based on customer assessment.

4G Assure

This keeps customers automatically connected if their hub loses broadband, when broadband is stable again, the hub will automatically reconnect to broadband with a flashing green light when it does.
